Wiggins was open about his concern regarding vaccines, despite the fact that the NBA season is only a few weeks away.

ESPN reports that the former number one pick could have lost almost $9 million if he had not been vaccinated.
When Wiggins was asked about the amount of money he would have made if he had not played, he replied, "That's my problem, not you."
Nearly 90 percent of NBA players are vaccinated. However, vaccination status has been the focus of attention over the past few weeks due to players like Kyrie Irving and Bradley Beal as well as Jonathan Isaac and Wiggins.
Although I don't know what caused Wiggins to change his mind about the vaccine, I can probably make 9,000,000 guesses.

People all over the country have been convinced that they are more protected against COVID if they don't get the shot. It doesn't get better when NBA players validate these views before a national audience.
I'm glad Wiggins got vaccinated. It doesn't matter why he changed his mind. This is a bigger issue than him. It is bigger than any NBA player choosing to be unsafe in this season.

This vaccine can save lives and stop the virus from mutating again. We need to make sure everyone is able to get their shot.
