Reporter rocks suit and headband combo on national TV and it rules

To be on the cutting edge in fashion, it takes courage and enthusiasm.
This is not about the Met Gala celebs wearing outfits that could cover my rent for a whole year. I don't mean the futuristic Croc-sock Kanye sells these days. I don't even mean the Comfort Revolution for the Comfortless, which was born from the pandemic.

This is the man I am referring to, right here. He's a respected journalist, well-sourced, and he rocked a suit and headband on Meet The Press.

STAY TUNED. Don't scroll mindlessly. Don't scroll endlessly on Instagram. This is a beautiful moment to take a look at. It is worth taking the time to really sit down and enjoy it. Jeff Horwitz is a Wall Street Journal tech reporter and sartorial trailblazer. Gaze.

Watch Horwitz intelligently discuss Facebook's moral failings. Horwitz also discusses how Facebook has put its own researchers under the bus regarding company leadership issues. It's serious. You can read Horwitz’s excellent reporting on Facebook here. This is important stuff.

Look at the headband. It's so bold, yet it doesn't seem like much. It works.

Horwitz reached Horwitz via DM but didn't want to give much more information about the choice of headband.

He wrote in a DM, "I'm probably better informed about Facebook than Fashion, so I should stick with commentary on that."

Horwitz, however, seemed to be able to grasp that he was making waves on Twitter.

He wrote, "When I woke at 4am Pacific, my motivation was to participate in productive discourse about a world changing technology company and to wear a sports-coat with an accessory sweatband on national TV." "I am confident that I achieved the former."

Later, he said that the headband was "pretty consistent thing for me during a very long Covid-time reporting project."

Others seemed as interested as I was in the choice of headband. It was loved by some, while others (who may be wrong) didn't.

Horwitz has inspired many to copy his look. Ben Smith, a reporter for the New York Times, joked that Horwitz might be able to sport the look.

Smith delivered. He was bold, which is a credit to him. However, he didn't achieve the matching look like Horwitz.

The headband and suit combination is a winner. As someone who dances a lot, I may have to get out of my comfort zone at a wedding.
