Donald Trump, a former president, claimed that he was more religious than anyone else during his presidency.
Trump stated that "Nobody has done more to Christianity, for evangelicals, or for religion itself" during an interview with FlashPoint on The Victory Channel. This Christian TV network broadcasts the interview.

He spoke of "getting rid" of the Johnson Amendment, which he called a "very bad thing."
The Johnson Amendment to the US Tax Code prohibits non-profit organizations opposing or endorsing candidates. They risk losing their tax-exempt status.
Trump signed an executive decree to relax the rules in 2017. He claimed that it limited freedom of speech for churches. Experts believe that the order was symbolic.
Trump also spoke out about the Mexico City policy which prohibits federal funding for non-governmental foreign organizations that offer abortion referrals or discuss it as an option.
This policy was introduced for the first time in 1973. Since then, it has been repeatedly rescinded and reinstituted by Republican presidents.
As you might expect, Trump reinstated this policy while he was in office. President Joe Biden, however, rescinded it on January.
Trump claimed in an interview with FlashPoint that Biden and the Democrats had done "destructive things" to religion.
"I predicted that Biden would be bad. He's been far worse than anyone ever imagined." Trump stated, "You don't talk about abortion; you discuss all the subjects."
He is terrible at these subjects and he lied. Just like they cheated the election, it was rigged. They also cheated very heavily on their beliefs about organized religion and religion, and Christianity, frankly.
Trump's statement that the Biden administration had cheated organized religion is unclear.
He also spoke out about the widely disproven claims that the 2020 election was fraudulent.
Trump continued to claim that he has done more than anyone else for Israel and that he didn't get enough credit from the Jewish people.
As you all know, "Also," Trump said, "Also," nobody has done more for Israel than I have. Trump stated that he was with Jerusalem and had to end the Iran nuclear agreement, which is a catastrophe, and all the other things he has done for Israel.
"And by the Christian community I mean that I get, I probably get more credit than I get for Jewish people."
"Nobody has done what I have done, and I'm very glad to do it."
Trump previously complained about Catholics voting against him, despite his claims of doing all that he could for their respective communities.
