After a bird strike caused an engine fire at the A320neo Spirit Airlines Airbus, it was quickly evacuated from Atlantic City International Airport (ACY/KACY).
The aircraft was registered N922NK and was flying flight NK3044 from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The bird's ingestion caused the Pratt & Whitney PW1000G Geared turbofan to catch fire. Crew members had to order an evacuation with escape slides.
