iOS 15 is afflicted by a number of early bugs

iOS 15 was released September 20th. Early adopters have encountered a few bugs since then. Apple has since fixed the Unlock feature for iPhone 13 users with iOS 15.0.1.

Another iOS 15 bug can cause photos from an iMessage conversation to be deleted and then disappear from the Photos app. There are also intermittent touchscreen issues with iPhone 13 models, as well as zero-day security flaws.

The repair site iFixit has recently done a teardown on the iPhone 13 Pro. They confirmed that Face ID will stop working if the display is changed by a third party repair shop that is not part of the Apple Authorized Service Provider Program, even if it is a genuine Apple part.
