My Hero Academia World Heroes Mission: New Dub Trailer, Tickets

Five (and soon six!) movies are under its belt. It has five (and soon to be six!) seasons and two movies under its belt. It is hard to imagine what My Hero Academias anime can accomplish as it adapts Kohei Horikoshi's super heroic shonen manga. World Heroes Mission is the third movie in the trilogy. It will feature the Japanese heroes that we have spent seven years living with and allow them to do their chaotic things there.

It's not a huge deal, but it is interesting to see Deku swinging around the Golden Gate Bridge with his Blackwhip power. You know what Deku has? In the dub trailer, Deku (Justin Briner), Bakugo(Clifford Chapin) and Todoroki (“David Matranga”) join forces with a global alliance to help them complete their internship with Todorokis father Endeavor ("Patrick Seitz") that they began in the second season. Their main goal is to save the world from Humarise, a pro-human group that seeks to eradicate all Quirks (superpowers). However, clearing Dekus name once he's been framed is also part of the plan.

My Hero never explored the experience of being Quirkless, except in the first episodes where Deku was just beginning to understand his powers after living his entire life without them. The leader of Humarise, like Amon in Legend of Korra and X-Mens Stryker has a clear disdain of Quirks and believes that technology is the only way to level the playing field. Will the movie believe what he says or make up stuff like Korra with Amon? It will be interesting to see what the future holds. It doesn't matter what, it's all hands on dek (u), and World Heroes embraces everything that comes with being a flashy super hero movie. From the flashy stealth suits for the teens to the additional spectacle of their abilities that anime can only do in certain episodes but movies can do more often over time. Each season has seen better animation. Last year's Heroes Rising brought Deku and his friends to new heights, with a truly bizarre third act. World Heroes Mission is going to be tapping into this energy again.

My Hero Academia - World Heroes Mission will be in theaters in sub and dub on October 29. Tickets are available now. Those who attend the opening weekend will receive a special manga and a 76 page booklet giving a glimpse into the film's development.
