Japan's Princess Mako, a 29-year-old sister of Emperor Naruhito and who is about to marry a commoner, was recently diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder, Japan’s public broadcaster NHK reported Friday.

The New York Times reported Friday that Mako has been feeling immense pressure ever since her 2017 engagement to Kei Komuro. She met Kei in college.

According to reports, the wedding will take place in October 26. It won't have the royal feel. The couple will instead settle in New York, where Komuro is a lawyer.
