Alfred Dunhill Links Championship: Tyrrell Hatton out in front on 10 under par

Tyrrell Hatton finished two under par in his second round at Kingsbarns.

Tyrrell Hatton leads by one shot after moving up to 10 under par at Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Hatton won his second round at Kingsbarns. He will next play St Andrews.

Daniel Givens, another Englishman, is nine under with Danny Willett, his compatriot in China.

Ewen Ferguson, the highest-placed Scot, is seventh on six under. Robert MacIntyre, his countryman is two over after a five to 77.

Each player plays a round at Carnoustie St Andrews or Kingsbarns. At the end of Saturday's play, a cut will be made and Sunday's final round at St Andrews will be played.

Hatton, who is a two-time winner, began day two at eight under. He had won his first round at Carnoustie, and shared the overnight lead alongside Li, Belgium's Nicolas Colsaerts, and Spaniard Adri Anaus.

The 29-year old had five birdies in his second round, but bogeyed three holes of his front nine.

Colsaerts vs Arnaus in Carnoustie, Friday. They are respectively five and four under.

Hatton said, "I'm happy about how I scored." It was very difficult out there. It was easy to make mistakes and very easy to miss bad shots.

"I think I was lucky at times that even though I hit a poor shot, it didn't put me in a difficult position. I made it to the green. "I'm proud of how I performed in difficult conditions today.
