Miami Dolphins center Michael Deiter out Sunday with foot, quad injuries

MIAMI -- Coach Brian Flores announced Friday that Miami Dolphins' starting center Michael Deiter will be out of Sunday's game against Indianapolis Colts because of foot and quad injuries.
Flores stated that Deiter suffered an injury at Wednesday's practice and will be placed on injured reserve. Greg Mancz will take his place.

Deiter was a third-round draft selection from Wisconsin in 2019. He played left guard for Miami for 15 games as a rookie. He beat out Matt Skura, an offseason signing, for the Dolphins' starting centre job. Flores stated that it is too early to predict whether Deiter would return to the team, but he does not usually establish a time frame for his injured players.

Flores stated that wide receiver Will Fuller V missed Wednesday's practice due to elbow and chest injuries. He returned to practice on Thursday but in a limited manner and will play Sunday.
