Microsoft will launch Office 2021 on October 5, and the company has finally revealed the pricing and features. Office 2021 is the next standalone version Microsoft's Office suite. It will be available to consumers and businesses who don't want to subscribe to Office.
Office Home and Student 2021 will cost $149.99. They include Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as OneNote and Microsoft Teams for Mac and PC. Office Home and Business 2021 will be priced at $249.99 and include all the Home versions and Outlook for PC and Mac.
Office 2021 will feature the collaboration features in Microsoft 365 Office versions, including real-time coauthoring, OneDrive support and even Microsoft Teams integration. Office 2021 will include a new Office design with a refreshed ribbon interface and rounded corners. The neutral colors in Office 2021 match the UI changes in Windows 11.
Microsoft will also be adding Microsoft 365 features to Office 2021. These include modern Excel features and PowerPoint improvements. They also offer better inking in Office apps. Outlook translation support is also available. These are the new Office 2021 features.
