Trump donor: Corey Lewandowski made unwanted sexual advances

Odom stated in a statement to POLITICO that I went to a Las Vegas dinner on September 26 to support a charity and meet wonderful friends. She said that he repeatedly touched me in inappropriate ways, made vile and disgusting comments to me, and stalked me. He also made me feel violated, afraid, and betrayed me.
Odom said that I'm coming forward to hold him accountable. I am fortunate to have my loving husband and family supporting me. I want to let other women know that they can be heard and that together we can prevent terrible things from happening.

David Chesnoff (a Las Vegas attorney representing Lewandowski) did not address the allegations directly. He said that rumors and accusations are changing rapidly and that he would not respond to them further.

Lewandowski did not respond to multiple requests to comment. He has made himself known as Trump's most trusted and loyal advisors. This role has allowed him to access top Republican donors and to exert influence over the direction and policies of the Republican Party. He was Trump's first presidential campaign manager in 2016 and he is now part of the advisory circle for the former president. He managed a pro-Trump super PAC from the beginning to Wednesday. Taylor Budowich, Trump's spokesperson, tweeted that "Trump World had ended its association with Lewandowski" after publication of this article.

Budowich tweeted that Pam Bondi, the highly talented and honorable former AG of FL, had his complete faith and confidence in the task of taking over the super-PAC. "Corey Lewandowski will continue on to other endeavors, and we are very grateful for his service. Trump World will not be associated with him.

Odom was among the approximately two dozen major Republican donors who attended the Sunday dinner at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casinos Benihana. Odom sat next to Lewandowski at the four-day conference hosted by Victorias Voice Foundation. This charity is dedicated to fighting substance abuse. Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem was also present, who Lewandowski acts as an informal advisor to.

A statement from the Odom family attorney states that Lewandowski allegedly made remarks about the size of his genitalia and described his sexual performance, while also showing Odom his room key. Odom later revealed to people that Lewandowski had repeatedly spoken about sex while using expletives.

Participants also saw Lewandowski becoming physically stronger with Odom.

Mrs. Odom said that Mr. Lewandowski tried holding her hand during the meal, but she pushed him away. He touched her leg and she moved it aside. Odoms attorney stated that he touched her leg with his napkin and then tried again to touch it.

The statement continued by touching her back. She tried to run away. He mentioned a spot where he was sore after a workout on his side, but he showed this by touching her upper back. Lewandowski attempted to touch her about ten times. Mrs. Odom always refused.

Odom left the room, but Lewandowski followed her. According to Lewandowski's statement and that of another attendee, Lewandowski commented that Odom had a nice sex. Her attorney said that Lewandowski also threw a drink at Mrs. Odom. It landed on her shoe and bottom, and she was called stupid.

POLITICO spoke to one event attendee, who said Odom recounted the events in detail. She described how she became afraid for her safety and how Lewandowski described violence that had occurred earlier in his life.

Odom and her husband, who are relatively newcomers to Republican donor scene, told the attendee she felt intimidated and manipulated by Lewandowski's claims that he can control the orbit of the former president and determine the fates of those around Trump.

Odom informed the attendee that Lewandowski stated that no candidate can receive the endorsement of the president without Lewandowski's approval.

According to Odoms attorney, Lewandowski allegedly stated repeatedly that he was very powerful and could destroy anyone. He also claimed that he is close to President Trump and can get any person elected or taken out.

Odom claimed in a statement that Corey was physically and verbally aggressive and forceful. She stated that she was afraid for her physical safety.

Odom was described as being uncomfortable by two people who attended the dinner, while three others said that Lewandowski looked intoxicated. POLITICO photos show Odom taking selfies with guests at the dinner. Lewandowski was seen on several photos just above Odom's right shoulder, his tongue sticking out from his mouth.

Odom left the restaurant to attend an after-dinner party at the Verona Sky Villa. Witnesses described a chaotic scene. Odom was seen crying and beg for help by one person who had interacted with her. She was accompanied by her stepson and sister, who had previously accompanied her to Las Vegas.

According to witnesses, Odom fled to the opposite side of the bar to be with her stepson and sister when Lewandowski arrived at the villa. According to three witnesses, Lewandowski followed Odom and tried to protect her. However, he eventually led her to another area of the bar. According to Odoms lawyer, Corey moved around the bar and tried to touch Mrs. Odom.

According to attendees, Odom and Lewandowski had left the party in separate vehicles. Odom shared with one person that she feared for her safety staying at the hotel that night, as her room was next to Lewandowskis. To ensure that she didn't cross paths with him, she also shared her departure time with those she knew.

Lewandowski isn't the only one to be accused of unwelcome touching. Joy Villa, a singer, filed a police complaint in late 2017 alleging that Lewandowski had rubbed her buttocks at a holiday party held at the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C.

After pulling Michelle Fields' arm at a Trump event, Lewandowski was also accused of battery. Although the charges were dropped later, Lewandowski claimed that the incident didn't take place before video was made.

Lewandowski, 48, has been a Trump top lieutenant for many years. Although he was fired as presidential campaign manager in 2016 after Trump was elected, he remains a prominent figure in Trump's inner circle as an informal advisor and surrogate.

Trump spokeswoman did not respond to our request for comment. However, word of the incident has shaken Trump's inner circle, according to several people who were present at the discussion.

Trump lost the 2020 election and Lewandowski was appointed by him to head Make America Great Again Action, the main pro-Trump superPAC.

Lewandowski has had access to some the Republican Party's most important donors through this perch, which also includes Trashelle Odom (and her husband). According to two people familiar with the matter, the couple donated $100,000 to super PAC.

However, those close to the Odoms stated that the couple would request their money be refunded if Lewandowski's ties with the super PAC were broken. This happened on Wednesday night.

John Odom, Trashelles husband said that he loves his wife and wants accountability. We are currently exploring all legal options to ensure that [Lewandowski] does not harm anyone else.
