Microsoft starts testing xCloud integration on Xbox consoles

Microsoft has begun testing its Xbox Cloud Gaming integration with Xbox consoles. Xbox Insiders who are part of the Alpha Skip-Ahead or Alpha rings will have access to the xCloud integration. This feature allows you to click play on a Xbox Game Pass game and stream it instantly.
The new xCloud integration allows Xbox owners to test games before downloading them fully. You can also demo and buy future games. This integration will include more than 100 Xbox Game Pass titles. Xbox users can also jump into multiplayer games once friends invite them.

Compatible games with the xCloud integration are marked with a cloud symbol. This signifies that you can stream them immediately. This integration will allow Microsoft to stream 1080p 60fps games, just as the regular Xbox Cloud Gaming web streams. This feature is not intended to be streaming for 4K TVs, but more as a trial before you buy bonus.

Microsoft will begin testing today with a subset of Alpha Skip-Aheads and Alpha Insiders. The company will continue to expand its testers as time goes by. Microsoft promises that xCloud integration will be available on all Xbox consoles by year's end. This will allow the Xbox One to stream Xbox Series S / X exclusive titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator or The Medium.
