According to The Washington Post, Trump called an ex-White House aide to confirm that Trump's penis was not small or shaped like toadstools.
Stephanie Grisham, a former White House press secretary, writes in her book "I'll take your questions now" that Trump called Stephanie while he was on Air Force One. He asked her to confirm that Trump's penis wasn’t small or toadstool-shaped as Stormy Daniels claimed.
Grisham wrote that Trump asked her boyfriend (an aide) if Grisham was comfortable in bed.
The Post published excerpts from Grisham’s book Tuesday and detailed the anecdotes. It has not been independently verified by Insider.
In a statement, Liz Harrington, a Trump spokesperson, stated that "this book is another pitiful effort to cash in on President's strength" and "sell lies about the Trump family." She called Grisham a former employee disgruntled and said that book publishers should be ashamed of exploiting desperate people for short-term gain by publishing a book filled with falsehoods.
Daniels wrote in her 2018 memoir that she had an affair (with Trump) in 2006. She said Trump's penis "was smaller than average" and was usually well-shaped.
Daniels writes, "He knows that he has an uncommon penis." It has a large mushroom head. Like a toadstool."
In a hush fund arrangement, Daniels was paid $130,000 by Michael Cohen, Trump's former personal lawyer and fixer. This was to prevent Daniels from making the story public about the alleged affair.
