After domination of Eagles: How 'bout them Cowboys?

Dalton Schultz intercepts the pass from Dak Prescott at 19 yards to score a touchdown for the Cowboys. This gives them a 14-7 advantage over the Eagles. (0:29).
ARLINGTON (Texas) -- Jimmy Johnson, the Dallas Cowboys' then-coach, recited a line that has been passed down for generations:

They are Cowboys.

Johnson, who received his Pro Football Hall of Fame Ring at halftime Monday here, recited his famous quote much to the delight of Cowboys fan.

After a 41-21 win by the Philadelphia Eagles, how about them Cowboys?

Dak Prescott, Quarterback, played his first game at AT&T Stadium after suffering a compound fracture, dislocation, and dislocation of the right ankle in October. He completed 21 of 26 passes, gaining 238 yards and three touchdowns.

Prescott stated, "That was great." "It shows the brotherhood and culture that we created within this team. This is just one step. It was a huge step.

Ezekiel Elliott ran 95 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns in halftime. This was the second consecutive time that Ezekiel Elliott has run for more than 95 yards in each of the last four seasons. This is Elliott's seventh consecutive game with at least 95 yards running against the Eagles. Tony Pollard, his backup, ran for 109 yards against Los Angeles Chargers and had 60 yards on 11 runs.

Two takeaways from the Cowboys defense were provided by Trevon Diggs, cornerback for the Cowboys. He returned a 59-yard interception for a touchdown on the Cowboys third play of the second period. This increased the Cowboys lead up to 20 points.

The Cowboys were able to allow three first downs in the first half and 121 yards during the second.

Diggs' pick-six was Cowboys' first since 2017, ending the longest drought in the NFL. It was the Cowboys eighth takeaway from three games. This defense is so different! The Cowboys didn't record their eighth takeaway until 2020, when they played the 10th game.

All of this means that the Cowboys have surpassed.500 for only the second time under Mike McCarthy's leadership at 2-1. The Cowboys are now above.500 for the first time since Week 12, 2019, when they lost to the New England Patriots 6-5. It is also the first time that a McCarthy-led team has been over.500 since Oct. 15, 2018, when San Francisco beat the Green Bay Packers to move to 3-2-1.

McCarthy stated, "When you beat a division opponent with two-plus scores it's a good win."

Buy Trevon Diggs: This second-year cornerback has faced Mike Evans, Keenan Alle, and DeVonta Smith and Diggs has done well. He became the Cowboy's first Cowboy to score a pick in all three of his season's first games since Everson Walls (1985). Diggs has recorded four interceptions in three games against Eagles during his career. He also tied his brother Stefon Diggs in touchdowns this season with his touchdown.

Promising trend: For the second consecutive week, the Cowboys opened their season with a touchdown on their opening possession. After going 20 games without a touchdown in their first possession, they now have a streak for only the second time since Weeks 13-14 in 2019. Kellen Moore, offensive coordinator, was interviewed by the Eagles for the head-coaching position in the winter. He showed them the potential of his playcalling on Monday.
