Tyron Woodley pays up, gets 'I love Jake Paul' tattoo on middle finger

Tyron Woodley had an "I Love Jake Paul" tattoo placed on his left middle finger. This was part of the wager that he and Paul made before and after their last month's boxing match. Woodley shared a photo of his tattoo on Instagram Monday.
Woodley wrote, "I love you son." "Now, come and get this a -- whippin' cause i heard that you were talking back to elders."

Two weeks ago, Paul informed ESPN that Woodley was out of the running to be Paul’s next opponent. He had not gotten the tattoo. Woodley wanted to rematch and, in the aftermath of their Aug. 29, fight (which was won by Paul via split decision), Paul stated that he would grant the rematch if Woodley had the tattoo. Woodley accepted and they exchanged glances.

Woodley now has the tattoo, which puts him back into play for the rematch. Malki Kawa, Woodley's manager at First Round Management, told ESPN.

At a July news conference, the tattoo bet was first discussed. Both men spoke out and agreed that the loser would have a tattoo on their bodies that reads that they loved the winner. Paul brought a tattoo artist with him to the fight to help them get ink done as soon as they left the ring.

After the fight, Paul's team stated that they would only reconsider the rematch if Woodley received the tattoo. Woodley's team wanted something stronger than that so it didn't happen immediately.

Paul said that if he had gotten the tattoo immediately and received 10 million views on his Instagram, then everyone would have been very hyped about it. And I would have felt forced to do it. He was a man after my own heart. He f ----- up. Because of his ego, he missed another huge payday."

Woodley is back, however, with Paul at a public impasse avec potential opponent Tommy Fury (Tyson's halfbrother), which he posted last week. Paul stated that Fury, an undefeated fighter and reality TV celebrity in the United Kingdom has declined two offers to make the match happen, one for $1 million.

Fury stated to Boxing Scene that $1 million for a fight this big is too much. "This fight will gross millions and even millions of pounds. I can't walk down the street and not be asked, "When are you going to fight Jake Paul?" So until you make a serious offer, then we won't even consider fighting, pal.

Woodley got the tattoo, and Fury's negotiations didn't go smoothly. This could lead to Paul vs. Woodley 2. Paul made fun of Woodley in an Instagram story. He wrote that he got the tattoo only after Fury's accountant informed him how much he owed taxes.
