Rams show they’re the best team in the league as Matthew Stafford cooks up Bucs like a beef brisket

The Rams are a formidable football team. This has been known for some time. They were one step away from being a Super Bowl champion quarterback.

They have an elite quarterback and they may be even better than we thought. Matthew Stafford threw four touchdown passes for 343 yards after some questionable drives to begin the game. He won against Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion Bucs 34-24.

Yesterday, Sean McVay looked just like the offensive genius we believed he was when the job was offered to him in L.A. The defense was able make enough stops to stop Brady from running off.

You would be hard-pressed find another team in the league you can call unquestionably better than the Rams if you watched the game yesterday. Stafford running the McVay offense seems like the match made in Heaven everyone had hoped it would be. They are a team that is sputtering like baked beans and mac and cheddar, and should be the favorite to win the Super Bowl LVI. It would be a great thing if one team did not play in the Super Bowl at their home stadium for 54 consecutive Big Games and then it happened in back-toback years. Super Bowl LVI will take place in SoFi Stadium. This is the Rams' home stadium after the Bucs had played in Super Bowl LV.

Although Tampa Bay didn't put any pressure on Stafford during the game, I was able to impact more Stafford's throws yesterday than the Bucs front seven. The Buccaneers' front seven were more ineffective than an elastic waist trainer on Fat Albert. It will be interesting to see how a team can turn the heat on Stafford. This could change how explosive this offense is.

Rams are currently in the most difficult division of football, alongside the Cardinals, 49ers and Seahawks. Next week, they will face Arizona in a matchup that will reveal a lot about each team.

Tampa Bay will be in a strong position going forward, they just have to make sure that defense is in place. The rest of the league is not as good as Brady, but I believe the Bucs are ahead. They will still be in the playoffs and have an excellent season, but their chances of winning the Super Bowl seem to be diminishing with the appearance of these new teams.
