COVID Patients Tell Doctor Coronavirus Is Fake, Then All Die

Matthew Trunsky, a Michigan pulmonologist, posted a Facebook message earlier this month about eight COVID-19 patients. They were all critically ill and berated Trunsky and other healthcare workers. He also spewed the kind of conspiracy theories and repeatedly debunked coronavirus misinformation that has spread just as widely as the disease itself.

Trunsky stated that six of the eight were dead two weeks ago to The Washington Post. The other two are still in critical condition.

Trunsky posted the following quotes on Facebook from patients.

1) You are wrong, doctor. I am too healthy. I don't have COVID. I'm fine.

2) I want ivermectin, or you'll hear from me.

3) I want hydroxychloroquine.

4) I don't care what you think. I'm going to leave.

5) I would rather die than take the vaccine.

6) My son said it would kill me so I didn't take it.

7) I want a different doctor. I don't believe you.

8) As a widow whose husband was killed by COVID, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this vaccine to family members and friends.

Trunsky posted that they should have been vaccinated, but they weren't and are now angry at the medical community. He was referring to the outrage he and others have experienced from unvaccinated patients.

Trunsky explained to WaPo that his post was also intended to double as an appeal to anyone still not vaccinated with the COVID vaccine. This is in the hope of saving more lives, and keeping patients out of intensive care units where staff are at breaking point.

Trunsky stated to WaPo that we all feel physically exhausted. It seems like a week passes without me seeing someone die.

Many of his patients who were not vaccinated now regret it. One example is a new mother who opted to avoid the vaccine because she was concerned about the effects on her baby. Data suggests that pregnant and nursing mothers can both be vaccinated.

Trunsky said to WaPo, regardless of the reason his patients refused the vaccine.
