Rory McIlroy, after Europe's record loss at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, said that the United States will be "foster opposition" for 20 years.
The US was defeated 19-9 by Lake Michigan, with six rookies and eight under-30 players.
The average ranking for the home team was 8.9, compared to Europe's 30.8.
"There is a lot of talent in that team. "It has been a difficult week for us," stated the Northern Irishman.
Europe arrived in the USA having won seven of the nine previous Ryder Cups. However, they were outclassed and outclassed at home by a team that US captain Steve Stricker called the "greatest ever".
Only one of the seven previous events was won by a visiting team. Europe produced the miracle of Medinah to overcome a deficit of 10-6 on the final day of 2012.
Dustin Johnson, 37, was the US's leading scorer with five points. Collin Morikawa, Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, all under 30, were close behind him as the top individual scorers at Whistling Straits.
The US will defend the Marco Simone trophy in 2023 at the Marco Simone Course in Rome, Italy.
McIlroy, 32 said: "I think what is most important for the US team, they are a lot young guys that have bought into Ryder Cup.
"I believe that this was likely missing in previous generations.
"Having guys like this on the team is going to be formidable opposition starting now and ending probably not playing Ryder Cups in 20 years' time, if that happens."
"Harrington will be questioned, and that's unfair"
Veteran Ian Poulter said that Padraig Harrington, Europe's captain, should not be held responsible for the visitors record loss.
"The hardest thing about all this is that Paddy will be questioned, and that is unfair," Poulter from England told Sky Sports.
He has done a fantastic job, but we were outplayed. He has done a great job, and he deserves credit for his captaincy.
"The room and the group of players that we had this week were special men. The score is unfair.
Harrington was a successful Ryder Cup player and won four of his six appearances. He also helped Europe win as vice-captain.
He was not able to enjoy the same success in his role as captain partly because he had lower-ranked players than Stricker.
The Irishman, upon seeing the history of the ending of an unfavorable record, said that he had to. This is how it works. This was a strong US team.
"Everybody gave their 100% and worked together.
"Nobody gave their heart and soul to this group. We don't owe anyone anything, and nobody should leave.
"There will be more Ryder Cups. The best part of most players' careers is still ahead of them.
Stricker, who was emotional after his team failed to join previous generations of American talent teams that had underperformed at the Ryder Cup said: "This is an exciting new era." They are motivated and young. They came here to win.
They are simply so delicious. It was an unforgettable week.
"I have never won a major. This is my major right now."
