Hamster Trades Cryptocurrencies, Outperforms Warren Buffett

Since June, when he started trading, his portfolio has grown by 24 percent.
The Wheel

Hamsters are often boring, but adorable pets that parents choose to keep in their home over a pet dog or cat. One hamster, however, is making waves online for his crypto trading skills and has even gained a small following on Twitch.

According to Insider, Mr. Goxx is a German-based hamster that has been trading cryptocurrency since June. The creature isn't trading cryptocurrencies by itself. Instead, it does so through a specially designed cage called the Goxx Box.

It is quite clever. First, the hamster runs on an intention wheel which allows him to choose one of thirty different cryptos to trade. Goxx then runs through one or both of the two decision tunnels to decide if he will purchase or sell cryptocurrency in increments of 20 euros. All of this is obviously rigged to a machine.

Although it may seem random and chaotic, Goxxs portfolio has risen by approximately 24 percent over the same time period. This is far more than the S&P 500 or Warren Buffets Berkshire Hathaway.

Protos reports that Goxx started his portfolio with $390 in exchange money, which was the Euro equivalent to $390. The creatures portfolio reached an all-time high in September at $580. But, the crypto crash has also impacted his profits.

His anonymous caretaker, who is behind the entire operation, hopes to offer Mr. Goxx more investment opportunities in future.

Protos was told by Goxx's caretaker that there are plans to give Mr. Goxx greater control and allow him to choose his buy amount, if interest in his channel continues growing.

You can see the financial wizard in action. His caretaker created a Twitch channel to show Goxx in action. It is similar to Fish Plays Pokemon.
