TOP STORY: Juve, Milan keen on USMNT wunderkind Pepi

According to Calciomercato, AC Milan and Juventus are interested in Ricardo Pepi (forward from the United States) and FC Dallas wunderkind FC Dallas.

The promising 18-year old has already shown promise in MLS. He scored 12 goals and two assists in 24 appearances. In his international debut with the U.S., he also scored a goal and added two assists.

According to reports, Juventus is in negotiations with the agent of the player. Milan has also been in discussions with Dallas about a possible move. Rival Italian sides Fiorentina and Bologna were both interested in the Texan last year but could not secure a deal.

Bayern Munich is also interested in the striker, and they have the advantage of a partnership. Pepi was among a number players who had training sessions with the Bundesliga outfit during the offseason. This arrangement has also seen Justin Che and Chris Richards join the Bavarian outfit.

He is the youngest player to ever score a hat-trick in the MLS. If he keeps rewriting the history books in Dallas it is possible that a move to Europe will be in his future.

PAPER GOSSIP

Barcelona could have to start contract negotiations with Memphis Depay next season, despite only signing him this year. Mundo Deportivo has revealed that the forward's contract is up until 2023, and there is no option to extend it. This clause was not in the original plan. The Dutch international forward will have one year remaining on his contract. This means the Blaugrana could be forced to offer new terms (possibly better) or risk losing him on a free transfer.

Calciomercato reports that Inter Milan is willing to allow Alexis Sanchez, a former Arsenal and Manchester United player, to leave the club in January. According to the report, Sevilla, Real Betis and Marseille are possible destinations for Sanchez, 32 years old who has played 52 minutes this season for Inter.

According to Sport, Barcelona is interested in Alberto Moleiro, a young player from UD Las Palmas. At 17 years old, the attacking midfielder has been playing in LaLiga 2 since the beginning of this season. Ronald Koeman is interested in young players with potential in Spain.

Juventus plan to make a move next summer for Fiorentina striker Dusan Velahovic. The January window will be devoted to midfield reinforcement. Tuttosport reports the Bianconeri are willing to compete with European clubs to secure the 21-year old next year, as an alternative to Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe who are both likely to move in much more lucrative deals.

Inter is interested in Atalanta's midfielder Ruslan Manovskyi, but they are unlikely to match their Serie A counterparts. Calciomercato reported that the La Dea would not consider authorizing the departure of the 28 year-old Genk player for a transfer fee lower than 30m. This is just two years after signing him from Genk for 13m. He scored against the Nerazzurri on Saturday, but the Ukraine international is still on their radar.
