KANSAS CITY (Mo. According to a source, Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs' coach, left Arrowhead Stadium in an ambulance after Sunday's match against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Reid, 63, was able to watch the Chiefs' loss by remaining on the sidelines until the end. He then returned to the locker room.
According to a source close to Reid, Reid was feeling well when he left for precautionary observation following a bout with illness.
Darlington was told by a Chiefs source that Reid is expected be fine and that there is little concern about Reid's situation within the team.
Reid addressed the team the same way he would normally after a game. At least one player, Clyde Edwards Helaire, stated that he didn't know anything unusual.
A source claimed Reid felt sick and left for the hospital to be examined. Reid didn't address media like he normally would after a game and left that job for Dave Toub, assistant head coach.
Reid was taken to the ambulance within an hour of the end of the game.
Safety Tyrann Mathieu posted about Reid's game afterward, saying that she was praying for Reid and asking for prayers. One of the greatest men and teachers I've ever seen! We beg you to show mercy on us, GOD!
