According to media outlets, the gunmen opened fire on Jitender Gogi (30), who was being tried for murder.
Delhi Police tweeted that "Two Gangsters were killed in an immediate counterfire by Police when they opened fire in lawyers' attire at a Gangster UTP (under trial prisoner), in Rohini court premises today." "All three gangsters are dead. There was no other injury or death."
Police stated that an investigation is ongoing.
