A new report suggests that Donald Trump could face criminal charges for election interference in Georgia.
According to the report, Trump and his associates pressured Georgia officials into reversing his loss.
Trump faces several investigations in connection to his conduct in Georgia after the election.

A new report suggests that former President Donald Trump could face multiple charges for election interference in Georgia.
The Brookings Institution is a Washington DC-based think tank that analyzes public evidence to show that Trump and his associates tried to force Georgia officials to "change lawful outcomes of the election."
The now-infamous call that Trump made to Brad Raffensperger, Georgia's Republican Secretary Of State, on January 3, is a key piece of evidence. He instructed him to "find 11,780 voters" in order to reverse Biden's victory.
According to the report, Trump also publicly pressured Georgian officials to reverse his state's loss and personally reached out to them.
It also includes Governor Brian Kemp, Attorney General Chris Carr. Trump called them in December to ask them to support his "increasingly desperate plans to decertify" his loss.
The report stated that Trump's conduct after the election in Georgia puts him at significant risk of state charges based on multiple crimes.
"These charges could include criminal solicitation to vote fraud, intentional interference in the performance of electoral duties, conspiracy to commit fraud, criminal solicitation and state RICO violations.
According to the report, criminal liability could also extend to Trump's close aides, Rudy Giuliani, his personal lawyer.
Giuliani was seen in Georgia Capitol before committees with the intention of persuading state legislators to take extraordinary measures to reverse Biden’s win, the report states.

Raffensperger's Office opened an investigation into Trump's attempts to reverse his state loss in February.
Fani Willis, Fulton County District Attorney, also opened a criminal investigation into Trump’s conduct in relation to the election.
These probes were examined by the Brookings Institution, which suggests possible crimes Trump could face and legal defenses.
According to the report, Trump could claim immunity and argue that he cannot be prosecuted because of actions taken while he was President.
According to the report, former presidents are exempt from certain actions that "fall within their legal duties as federal officials."
The report states that Trump's actions in this instance were "well beyond the scope of his official duties."
Trump and his associates continue to make baseless claims about the fraud of the 2020 election.
He is currently being investigated for his actions while in office and his personal finances.
