After a scuffle on the sideline, Ohio State linebacker K'Vaughan Pope was taken to the locker room during the second quarter of Saturday's Buckeyes match against Akron.
According to LetterMen Row Pope tried to enter the game during the second quarter, but was stopped by Teradja Mitchell, a Buckeyes linebacker. Pope was then taken back to the locker room by a staffer from Ohio State.
According to reports, Pope then threw the gloves in the stands and tried to take off his jersey on the sideline. He was then taken back to the locker room by staffers after he had a conversation with some Ohio State coaches.

Ohio State coach Ryan Day didn't respond when asked whether Pope was still with the Buckeyes after their 59-7 win.
Day stated, "I just got off of the field." "So, I have to figure out where all that is right now."
Pope tweeted "f--- Ohio State" in a now-deletted tweet while the game was still being played. Pope also tweeted "good luck to my teammates" and posted that tweet on his Twitter feed.
Day stated that he was aware of the tweets following the contest, but wanted to investigate them further before commenting.
Pope, a senior, played in 33 games, but has not seen much playing time over his career. He is a senior who has had three tackles in this season but has not played a significant role in the defense unit. Pope will be the second player to leave the team if he is not there. After seeing very little playing time this season, Dallas Gant was admitted to the transfer portal Wednesday.
Although Pope is still unknown, six Buckeyes players have transferred since last season. Max Wray, offensive lineman, transferred to Colorado; Jameson Williams and Mookie cooper, wide receivers, went to Alabama or Missouri; Tyreke Johnson, cornerback transferred to Nebraska; Ryan Jacoby headed to Pittsburgh.
