Netflix released a trailer for Arcane, their upcoming series that is based on League of Legends. It also revealed the date of the show's premiere: November 6th. Netflix will release Arcane in three acts. Each act will consist of three episodes, with each episode being released one week after its predecessor. The first act will air on November 6th. The next one will debut on November 13th. And the last one will air on November 20th.
Arcane was announced for the first time in 2019. However, League of Legends developer Riot Games delayed Arcane's debut to 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The news that Netflix had acquired the show was announced in May. It would premiere in the fall.
Riot and Netflix revealed Arcanes' voice cast earlier this week. This list features Hailee Steinfeld who you may recognize as Emily Dickinson in Apple TV Plus Dickinson or Kate Bishop in the forthcoming in Disney Plus series Hawkeye. Steinfeld will play Vi, one of League of Legends' playable champions, in Arcane.
Riots' latest expansion of League of Legends is Arcane. It includes a mobile spinoff and a board game as well as comic books. This is the latest videogame series to be added to Netflix.
