According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown won't play against the Los Angeles Rams in Sunday's road match.

On Wednesday, Tampa put the Central Michigan native on the reserve/COVID-19 roster. Along with linebacker Kevin Minter, and practice squad wideout Travis Jonsen, he was the third Buccaneer to be placed on the list.

Myles Simmons from Pro Football Talk pointed out that Bruce Arians, the Bucs' head coach, previously stated that all Bucs players were vaccinated. In order to be allowed to return, vaccinated players must have two negative COVID-19 test results within 24 hours.

Brown, 33 years old, is currently in his second campaign for the Bucs. He helped them win a Super Bowl LV title last year with 45 catches for 483 yards.

Brown began the season with five catches, 121 yards and one touchdown. He won the 31-29 victory over Dallas Cowboys. He had a quiet week 2, with only one catch for 17 yards. However, the Bucs won the game 48-25 over the Atlanta Falcons.

As usual, Tampa Bay's two top wideouts will be Mike Evans (as usual) and Chris Godwin (as usual).

Brown, the No. Scotty Miller should have more opportunities as the No. 3 wide receiver. Tyler Johnson could also see more snaps.

Brown will next be on the field at the New England Patriots, Sunday Night Football, Oct. 3.
