Get your first look at the fourth and final season of Netflix’s Ozark

After the 2018 release of its second season, the wait for new seasons of Ozark became much longer. The wait for season three was 19 months long and fans had to wait. The fourth season of the crime drama is yet to be released.

You might have heard Ozark mentioned a lot over the past few months, if you aren't part of your Ozark group chat. This is because production delays prevented the Netflix drama from being in the running for the Emmy Awards. Many pundits and journalists believed that the lack of Netflix shows such as Stranger Things and Ozark made it possible for The Crown to win the Outstanding Drama award. It was also the first major streaming series. The award for Outstanding Limited Series for The Queens Gambit was soon followed up by the award on September 19.

Ozarks' third season received 18 nominations at 72nd Primetime Emmys. However, only one win was achieved. Julia Garner won the Outstanding Supporting Actress In a Drama award. Season three's fallout set the stage for a thrilling final season. We will be back talking about Ozarks and Emmys soon enough. Marty and Wendy Byrde signed an agreement with the Navarro cartel. Or rather, Omar Navarro, Felix Solis, killed their rival Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer). Things are only going to get more complicated now that Wendy and Marty are aligned with Navarro cartel.



This is what we can gather from the first glimpse of the new season that Netflix shared today at its Tudum event. Although we don't know the premiere date yet, we do know that there will be two episodes of the final season at some point in 2022.
