iPhone 13 Pro Max Gets Nearly 10 Hours of Battery Life in Continuous Usage Test

Arun Maini shared today a battery life test for iPhones on YouTube. This included a comparison of the iPhone 13 models' ability to last on one charge and older models. Maini stated that all iPhones were at 100% battery health. They were also set to the same brightness and each iPhone was used in the exact same way.

Although the test isn't scientific and may not accurately reflect real-world usage of the iPhone 13, the video gives us a good idea about how the new iPhone 13 models compare to older generations in terms of battery lifetime.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max was the winner of the test, with an impressive 9 hours 52 minutes of battery life when used continuously. Maini stated that this iPhone's battery life is the longest he has ever seen.

These were the complete results:

The iPhone 13's four models have larger battery capacities than the previous generation. Additionally, the devices come with the more efficient A15 Bionic chip. The iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max have a ProMotion display that has an adaptive refresh rate. This can be set to either a low power 10Hz or a high speed 120Hz, depending on what content is being displayed.

After pre-orders closed on Friday, September 17, all four iPhone 13 models were launched today. If you don't pre-order, you may still be able to pick up your iPhone at the Apple Store on the same day depending on which configuration you choose.
