Nintendo Switch Online is now offering more platform options. Already, the publisher has over 100 games for Super Nintendo and Nintendo consoles. The company now has the Sega Genesis and Nintendo 64 games. You will need to subscribe to a higher-priced tier. Although the company didn't provide any details about pricing, it stated that it would add these games to its portfolio in October.

In 2018, Nintendo Switch Online was launched. It was launched with the awkwardly named Nintendo Switch Online Nintendo Entertainment System App. Switch owners were able to instantly access a collection of Nintendo games. Later, the company expanded this to include Super Nintendo classics. The publisher added online multiplayer features to classic games from the start.

However, since the addition of Super Nintendo and Nintendo, the company has been unable to add any new games to its online service. In the last few months, there have been very few new games added to the online service.

These classic systems will ensure that Nintendo Switch Online feels fresh with these new additions.
