Let's go boys! Finally, there's a Bayonetta 3 trailer. The new Bayonetta 3 trailer was revealed during a primetime Nintendo Direct show. It marks the end of four years of almost radio silence about Platinum Games' leggy, fashionable, witch.
Bayonetta was first released in 2009, as a raunchy beat em-up to Capcom's Devil May Cry. Platinum Games announced in 2012 that Bayonetta 2 would be exclusive to Nintendo's Wii U.
We first saw Bayonetta 3 at 2017's Game Awards. It was a short teaser of a Bayonetta with a broken logo and a wounded Bayonetta. There has been a lot of speculation over the status of the game in the years that have followed, with no updates. Bayonetta 3 director Hideki kamiya encouraged patience and expressed hope that Platinum would have something to offer before 2021.
Kamiya stated in an interview with Video Games Chronicle that she hoped to give an update throughout the year.
He said that any information about Bayonetta 3 would be revealed by the publisher. He suggested that fans should forget about it so that when it is finally revealed, it will surprise them.
Nintendo reassured fans that Bayonetta 3 was still in development after the game's absence at E3.
All that quiet seems to have paid off. Bayonetta 3 launches in 2022.
