Nintendo announced that Chris Pratt will play Mario on the big screen – TechCrunch

Burt Macklin, it's a me! Chris Pratt voices Mario in a feature movie that Nintendo is making with Illumination. This studio is the one that made Despicable Me. We can't be too disappointed because Anya Taylor-Joy appears to be Peach, Jack Black is Bowser and Charlie Day is Luigi. Recently, TechCrunch Disrupt guest (shameless Plug) Seth Rogen seems to be Donkey Kong. This gives me the representation that I have always wanted from Nintendo.
We will have to wait to December 2022 to find out if that's a flop. However, Ryan Reynolds, a TechCrunch Disrupt guest, absolutely nailed it as Detective Pikachu in 2019. So let's keep our eyes open and continue to explore this topic with an open mind.

We won't have long to wait for exciting new things. Nintendo announced that, for the first time since September 2018, when it launched its online subscription Nintendo Switch service, it will introduce a new subscription level. The Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion membership will give you access to games from SEGA and Nintendo 64. This includes Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 (which can be played online with up four players), Yoshis Story and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. There will also be access to other SEGA and Nintendo 64 games, such as Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Castlevania Bloodlines. More information will be available in the future. Although Nintendo did not specify how much it would cost, it will be available in October.

The current online plan costs $19.99 per annum. A wireless Nintendo 64 or SEGA controller can be purchased for $49.99. While they are nostalgic and appealing to our nostalgia, they are not necessary to play.

In other big news, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, a new 3D platforming-adventure in the Kirby series, will come to Nintendo Switch in spring 2022. For those who were scared of being reprimanded by our villager friends, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be available on Nintendo Switch in spring 2022. In November, an update for our islands will be available free of charge. More details will be revealed in the October edition of Nintendo Direct. Today's livestream showed that players will have access to the Roost, which is a cafe located inside the Museum. This cozy hideaway was previously featured in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
