As Spacecraft Toilet Rumors Swirl, Bidet Company Pitches Elon Musk

Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, admitted that SpaceX's Inspiration4 space tourists had some trouble using the toilet.
Musk promised that there would be upgraded toilets and that he would set up another Twitter account to suggest heated toilet seats for the next mission. It was not an easy flight.

Tushy, a well-known bidet attachment firm, clearly noticed the news.

Elon Musk, let's put a TUSHY bidet aboard the spaceship. The company suggested this Wednesday night in a tweet. It was accompanied by a sketch of what such an instrument might look like.

The diagram shows a cushioned chair with a retractable bidet attachment. It is labeled the Tushy Ass Blast 9000. The waste is then taken care of by a Robo Sphincter or Slurp Chamber.

It's a ridiculously crude vision, and Tushy seems to be enjoying some old-fashioned bathroom humor.

A tongue-in-cheek press statement says that we heard that you had problems with your toileting habits during the SpaceX Inspiration4 orbital missions. We are sorry for the situation. Skid marks on a spacesuit is not a good look. SpaceX wouldn't like to be a dry cleaner.

Crew Dragon's toilet has a great view. However, it shouldn't be overshadowed with a dirty mouth. Let's put a bidet in your spaceship to keep it clean.

The Tushy Ass Blast 9000 is more real than the company admits. Futurism reached Miki Agrawal the founder of the company, and she told us that they have considered the risks of microgravity droppings floating around in the cabin.

Agrawal explained that the TUSHY Ass Blast 9000 was placed so close to the hole, spraying with such a powerful force. Then, Agrawal said, he used a state-of the-art vacuum hose in order to recover the water. To ensure that water is as clean as possible, engineers discussed the possibility of a water filtration system.

When toilet paper and wipes can be found in space, why use a bidet? Agrawal asserts that dry toilet paper not only is inefficient, but can also exacerbate chronic health problems like UTIs and hemorhoids.

She also connected the COVID-19 pandemic to research that showed pathogens can spread via fecal matter.

Futurism told her that it is more important to keep our bodies clean, particularly the most dirty. We don't want space travelers infecting one another.
