Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds manager, has seen his team fail to win any Premier League games this season.

Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds manager, says that his team are ready to adapt to their injuries after a disappointing start.

Patrick Bamford is the latest to be ruled out. Five others could also be absent against West Ham on Saturday.

Leeds is 17th on the table, having not won any of their five opening games.

Bielsa stated, "There is a point when you have to show that the project can solve these uncomfortable situations."

"We have enough players, and we are ready to adapt to any absences."

After suffering an ankle injury on Tuesday, Striker Bamford is still not fully recovered.

"Against Fulham we had eight or nine players unavailable. It doesn't matter that so many of the players weren't available, I can't deny.

"Of course it's a problem when players in the same place are also hurt."

Jack Harrison (knee), Luke Ayling and Jack Harrison will be subject to late fitness tests in order to play the game. Jack Harrison is still recovering from Covid.

Diego Llorente (muscle strain), and Robin Koch (pubis), remain out, while Patrick Struijk, a fellow defender, will serve the last game of his three match ban.

Bielsa may have to look to several young players who played against Fulham, such as defender Charlie Cresswell or winger Crysencio Sommerville.

Cresswell, according to Leeds manager, "had taken an important step forward" since impressing against Cottagers. Stuart McKinstry and Joe Gelhardt were both on the bench, while midfielder Stuart McKinstry and striker Joe Gelhardt were replaced by Joe Gelhardt and Stuart McKinstry.

Bielsa stated that McCarron was 20 years old and it is bringing him closer to the level of competition among the club's players.

"He has had one year of close contact with the first teams and that's helped him to reduce the distance so he can compare himself to the other players."
