A special ACJ TwoTwenty Cabin Design

Airbus Corporate Jets (ACJ), and Cyril Kongo, world-renowned contemporary artist, have collaborated to design an ACJ cabin. Mr Colorful and Cyril Kongo have designed an ACJ cabin, the ACJ TwoTwenty edition.
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Cyril at Monaco Yacht Show. Cyril is a pioneer with a strong spirit. He transformed the biz-jet into an aerial contemporary art gallery. This created a unique atmosphere. His bold and vibrant design is designed to challenge the business jet serious atmosphere. We hope to see more of this design on future planes.

Cyril Kongo launches his design on Airbus ACJ TwoTwenty

The ACJ design team has envisioned the entire signature cabin to provide comfort, connectivity, and functionality all in one space. Cyril Kongos touches bring the cabin design to the next level of emotion.

The main lounge, which Cyril Kongo will partly hand paint, features carefully selected branded fabrics and textures, created to create the luxurious comfort, space, and luxury of your private art gallery.

Cyril Kongo, the ACJ design team, took full advantage the ACJ TwoTwentys large fuselage, which is at most two times larger than other business jets. This allows for a spaciously designed table greeting that can accommodate up to eight people. Comlux will be the exclusive partner in completion for the first fifteen aircraft.

About ACJ TwentyTwenty

The ACJ TwoTwenty, an aircraft of clean-sheet design, is based on Airbus A220-100.

ACJ TwoTwenty will have 73m2/785ft2 of living space. It will also be the first business jet to offer six large VIP living areas that can accommodate up to 19 passengers.

ACJ TwoTwenty will have a greater range and can fly up to 5,650 km (10,500 km) in 12 hours. This will allow it to connect city pairs such as London and Los Angeles and Moscow and Jakarta, Tokyo, Tokyo, Dubai, and Beijing.

ACJ TwoTwenty's cost is estimated to be between $70-80million and standard options. This is lower than other competitors like Bombardier or Gulfstream.

The ACJ TwoTwenty launched in late 2020. Six aircraft have already been ordered. Comlux will be the first company to receive the ACJ TwoTwenty in the winter, and the aircraft will be in service by early 2023.

About Cyril Kongo

Kongo, an urban artist first and foremost, is part of the first wave of graffiti artists in France. He was a revolutionary and committed activist who helped to defend graffiti as an art form. When the painter speaks about his discipline, he refers to its technical and visual complexity as a savoir-faire. His unique art was characterized by fluid lines, calligraphic abstraction and spontaneity combined with a clear and committed purpose. Cyril Kongo is learning to master his urban vocabulary so that he can achieve his vision. Through his own knowledge, he aims to bring out the cultural richness of the ancient techniques.
