PEOPLE IN ENGLAND who believed the pandemic was over were shocked to learn otherwise last week. According to a government advisory committee, the number of coronavirus-infected people in England could increase to 2000 to 7000 per day over the next few weeks. This compares to just under 1000 per day currently, and just over 4000 during the peak of January's second wave. This is a significant number of people.
