Metz 1-2 Paris Saint Germain: Achraf Hakimi scores dramatic late winner to maintain winning start

Paris St-Germain has taken 21 points maximum from their seven first league games

Paris St-Germain won at Metz with a dramatic injury-time goal by Achraf Hakimi.

In the 95th minute, Hakimi slid into the bottom corner for his second strike. This made it seven consecutive wins for Mauricio Puchettino's team.

After just five minutes, the right-back from Morocco had given PSG the lead.

Boubakar Kouyate, centre-back, came in from the corner to bring Metz's bottom side level before half-time.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men after captain Dylan Bronn was sent to the stands for kicking the ball away.

After Lionel Messi's knee injury, PSG were without Lionel Messi at PSG's victory over Lyon.

It is unknown if he will be able to play against Montpellier on Saturday, or Tuesday's home Champions League match with Manchester City.

PSG started strongly with Hakimi's opening goal. This was confirmed by goalline technology, after Matthieu Udl, defender, had blocked MauroIcardi's shot. However, he failed to repeat his heroics.

Metz received a positive reaction from Kouyate, who's powerful header beat Keylor Nvas six minutes before the half-time break. This left PSG's perfect league record at risk until the last minute.
