Ademola Lookman made his fourth appearance for Leicester after a loan move to RB Leipzig
Ademola Lookman scored the first goal for Leicester as they beat Millwall at the Carabao Cup Third Round.
After Kelechi Iheanacho’s 20-yard shot was parried by George Long, Leicester's first shot on target, he pounced eight yards away.
Iheanacho won the match when he grabbed a ball from the right wing and cut in.
In the fourth round, Brendan Rodgers' Foxes will host Brighton, a Premier League side.
Millwall missed Ryan Leonard, Connor Mahoney forced a save, and Ben Thompson headed over.
Both teams made many changes to their weekend fixtures and Leicester was well below their best in half one.
Their only attempt of the first period was the free kick Youri Tielemans kicked over the bar
Only two saves were made in the entire game: Danny Ward stopped Mahoney's attempt and Long's parry which led to the goal.
Chris Davies, Leicester assistant manager: "Ade [Lookman] is outstanding since he arrived in, with both his training and mentality. He has been a highlight of the past year and is now reaping his rewards.
"It was a very tight game so we had to work hard to get the opportunities we got. Ade was thrilled to score the goal.
"Kele scored an outstanding goal. He set up the first and scored with a fantastic strike. His overall play was excellent and it was a great goalscoring performance.
Gary Rowett, Millwall manager: "When you go head to head with a very strong Premier League side you cannot make mistakes."
"We lost the ball and let them score. These are the moments that can cost you." However, I thought that we played really well tonight."
