He didn't even clean the hood of his handprints.
Hit and Run
This week, the Washington Moses Lake Police Department was almost hit and run by a suspect.
After a verbal dispute, a red Tesla deliberately struck a pedestrian Sunday afternoon. The cops claim that the Tesla tried to flee after the incident.
Officers caught him illegally parking at a nearby charging station, which is a funny and obvious spot to find an electric car driver.
Red Handed
According to a police update on Facebook, the driver did not even wipe his handprints from his hood as he was concerned about charging his car.

The victim was able to get away with only bumps and bruises. However, the Tesla driver was charged with second-degree assault and hit and ran.
According to the update, it is the first Tesla-related accident that police have responded to in Moses Lake. This makes it stand out for local officers.
They will know where to go the next time a Tesla driver attempts to escape.
