TAMPA (FL) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that wide receiver Antonio Brown has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 roster.
Brown, Kevin Minter, an inside linebacker/special teams captain, and Travis Jonsen, a practice squad wide receiver, are the other three players to be added to the roster this week.
Brown is fully vaccinated as are his teammates as well as all Bucs coaches. Brown must have two negative tests within 24 hours to be able to return as per NFL rules.
The mandatory 10-day quarantine is not required for players who have been vaccinated.
Brown's two-game total of 138 receiving yards is the second-most this season. He's also undoubtedly the Bucs most versatile route runner, he can run deep and is very productive when he uses his suddenness inside.
This week, the Bucs travel to one of their most challenging areas. On Sunday, the Bucs take on Los Angeles Rams, then next week they travel to Foxborough, Massachusetts to face the New England Patriots.
Last season, the Bucs lost to Rams 27-24. The Rams limited the Bucs to only 209 passing yards, which was among their lowest totals.
