John Walsh, a long-time host of America's Most Wanted, said he would join in the manhunt to find Brian Laundrie. He is Gabby Petito's boyfriend and a person of concern in the case of her homicide death.
Walsh sought tips about Laundrie's location and stated that he would open In Pursuit with John Walsh on Wednesday. He will focus on Laundrie who was reported missing by his family last week, one week after Petito was reported missing.

Walsh said Monday that he was settling down to catch the dirtbag.

Walsh stated that this is a crime of homicide. The dirtbag is out there. I don't know how he managed to escape the house, with the FBI and local police watching him every day.

FBI CONFIRMS MISSING REEMAINS BEGIN TO HIKER GABBY PEITO

His family reported Laundrie missing on Friday eight days after Petito reported her missing. Laundrie's family stated that they last saw him Tuesday, September 14, while he was heading for Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County with a backpack.

Walsh stated that Laundrie was "bought by his family for four days to give him a head start."

Petito and Laundrie spent several weeks in the Midwest. They left New York on July 22nd and made stops in Colorado, Utah and Colorado.

Petito was last seen Aug. 24, when she and Laundrie checked into a Salt Lake City hotel. Nicole Schmidt, her mother, stated that Petito informed her of their plans to travel to Wyoming the day after she was last seen.

Authorities discovered a body that "concords with the description of Petito" in Wyoming's Grand Teton Bridger–Teton National Forest on Sunday. Since then, the FBI has confirmed that the body belonged to Petito. The county coroner made an initial determination regarding the manner of death as homicide. The final autopsy results are still to be completed.

On Monday, Laundrie's Florida residence was searched by investigators. An FBI agent called the area "an active criminal scene." During the search, Laundrie's parents were taken from their Florida home.
