Rodriguez scored four goals in the 50th to 77th minutes, after Rochdale had taken a surprise lead
Jay Rodriguez, Burnley, scored all four goals for the Clarets as they secured their place in Round 4 of the Carabao Cup. They won comfortably over Rochdale.
Burnley immediately responded to the League Two visitors' shock lead via Jake Beesley shortly after half-time.
Rodriguez smashed a header from Maxwel Cornet's corner just three minutes later. The 32-year old then scored on 60 and 62 minutes, respectively, to complete a goal scoring masterclass.
