SEC opens investigation into Activision Blizzard's workplace practices

According to The Wall Street Journal, the Securities and Exchange Commission opened an extensive investigation into Activision Blizzard. According to the outlet, the SEC has subpoenaed several executives and the CEO of Activision Blizzard. The publisher has been requested by the agency to provide a range of documents, including correspondence Kotick authored in relation to sexual harassment complaints against Activision employees.
Activision Blizzard spokesperson Helaine Klasky said that the SEC is investigating disclosures made by the company regarding employment issues. The agency hopes to determine if Activision disclosed the problems properly and if they should have shared them earlier.
