Apple TV+'s eagerly awaited adaptation from Isaac Asimovs classic sci fi saga Foundation is almost here. The streamer asks you to be excited and prepared. There have been a few trailers, but now we have a First Look at the series. David S. Goyer, showrunner, writer and executive producer of the series, is prominently featured. You can also see io9's interview with him earlier today. Below is a glimpse at Foundations vast world.
Goyer considers Foundation the greatest piece of science fiction ever written... it had such an incredible impact on the Star Wars universe. Foundation was a gateway to potential Asimovs fans, even Dune. The story is also represented by Lee Pace, who plays one-third the genetically engineered Empire, and Jared Harris, who plays Hari Seldon (mathematician, whose theories on the future of the galaxy are outsiders). You can also see landscapes, costumes and spaceships as well as deserts. These are just a few glimpses of the drama that lies ahead. Goyer teases that the Foundation age is finally here, even though it took a while for the world to get ready.
