Although the iPhone 13 has not yet been released, speculation about Apple's future phones is never ending. Although some rumors regarding Apple's event didn't materialize, there were certain leaks, such as Ming-Chi Kuos information on a smaller notch, and high refresh rates screens.
Kuo now reports (via 9to5Mac, MacRumors), that next year's iPhones will feature high-end Pro Max and Pro Max models with hole-punch front cameras and 48MP wide rear cameras. Kuo believes that Touch ID in-screen fingerprint scanning will not be available until 2023, despite earlier reports that it might happen this year.
The possibility of a foldable iPhone is now even more distant, with its original projection of 2023 slipping to 2024 at the latest. Kuo reiterates his expectations for a 5G-equipped iPhone SE next Spring and a larger, non-Pro version iPhone 14 that offers the same 6.7-inch frame but without any extra Pro features or price bump.
