Wolves is the first UK club to start a record label and venture into the music industry

Wolves are the first to launch their own music label, recording a Premier League record.

Warner Music UK has partnered with the club to create Wolves Records. Signings will be airplayed at the Molineux Stadium as well as across all digital productions.

Russell Jones, the general manager for marketing and commercial growth said that it would provide "talent with life-changing possibilities".

Football is synonymous with music for a long time. Popular anthems include 'Three Lions' (famous among football fans) and 'You'll Never Walk Alone' (famous among football fans).

Wolves' new venture is intended to support artists in the Midlands, but plans to expand internationally.

They are already collaborating with S-X, a Wolverhampton-born singer/songwriter and fan of S-X who previously worked with Lil Wayne and Childish Gambino.

Peter Rudge, the manager of The Who and The Rolling Stones is another supporter. He also serves as a strategic consultant.

S-X stated, "I am passionate about giving talented young people in this area the best opportunities as well as the rich musical talent that West Midlands has,"

"I'm looking forward to seeing Wolves Records make an impact on the music industry and help new artists."

Ricky Hill, label boss, said: "This isn't just about supporting local artists. It's a genuine move by a foot club with a vast crowd to penetrate the music business and develop new and emerging talents across the globe."

Wolves were the first UK club to get into the music industry, while Marseille, a French Ligue 1 club, partnered with BMG for OM Records - a label that focuses on pop, hip-hop, and rap.
