According to police, Brian Laundrie could be hiding in the Florida reserve for "months" as a suspect in the Gabby Petito investigation.

Petito, who has been missing since September 11, vanished during a cross-country trip with his fianc Laundrie. Petito, 22 years old, was not with Laundrie when he went on his cross-country road trip. Laundrie has refused to cooperate with authorities for days despite the family's desperate pleas.

Police discovered Laundrie had also vanished on Friday

"We've tried all week to speak to his family, Brian, but now they've called me here on Friday. We've also gone to the house and they're saying that they haven't seen their son," North Port police spokesperson Josh Taylor said to CNN. We are currently working on those details. This is just the latest twist in this tale.

In a Twitter update, the North Port Police Department stated that officers and FBI agents were searching for Laundrie in Florida’s "vast" T. Mabry Carlton Junior Memorial Reserve - also known as the Carlton Reserve to locals.

According to Taylor, "It's muddy and it's wet. There are a few unpaved roads that run along the power lines."

According to the Daily Mail, Laundrie informed his parents that he would be visiting the Myakkahatchee Creek Environment Park, which is part the Carlton Reserve, before his disappearance.

According to Saturday's warning, the reserve boasts approximately 80 miles of hiking trails. However, many of them are currently under water.

Taylor stated, "You could be here for months if it was your wish."

"We are not following him wherever he goes. Taylor stated that we are trying to keep track of his movements so that we can reach him if necessary. "But, our focus was on finding Gabby.

The search for information has so far yielded no results.

Due to darkness, "Our search for the Carlton is being called tonight. Nothing found. "Efforts will resume Sunday morning," North Port Police tweeted Saturday night.

The Post was told by police that Laundrie could be dangerous to himself and others.

Taylor stated, "It's a huge amount of pressure on someone to give answers about what's happening here."
