An online video, filmed by family travel bloggers and posted early Sunday, purports that it shows the van Gabby Petito, a missing New York woman, was traveling in at the time she is believed to have disappeared.

Jenn Bethune explained to Insider that the video was shared by Jenn Bethune and Kyle Bethune on social media. The two are known as Red White & Bethune on YouTube.

Bethune stated that she first saw the video Saturday night while searching for footage to upload on her YouTube channel.

Bethune said that she was a few weeks behind in filming the footage during an interview with Insider on Sunday. Insider was shown the video which shows a van in white that is identical to the Ford Transit van 2012 photos.

She claimed that her husband accidentally recorded the camera, which led to the video of the van they believe she was in at the time she disappeared.

Bethune stated that she first noticed the van when it was equipped with Florida license plates. Petito and Laundrie were married in Florida, before embarking on their road trip from Petito's hometown in Suffolk County in New York earlier this summer.

Bethune stated, "We were going stop to say hello, but the van wasn't dark enough to look like activity so we decided to just keep going."

They noticed the van while looking for a campsite and nothing about it struck her as unusual.

She said, "It was for certain normal." It's dispersed camping land, so anyone can camp there. And it's totally normal to see vans. These vans are numerous out west.

Bethune stated that she spoke via FaceTime with Petito's mom, Nichole Schmidt on Sunday. Schmidt said she thanked Bethune for sharing the footage.

Bethune stated, "We had a very good laugh together from one mother to another."

She said she called the FBI at 1 a.m. on Sunday, right after finding the footage. She claimed she was instructed to submit the footage through the FBI's online tip site. She said she hadn't heard anything from the FBI since she uploaded the video this morning.

Insider was told by a spokesperson from the FBI Denver field office that the FBI had no comment beyond a statement on Twitter.

The Saturday night statement stated that the #FBIDenver Field Office, its Wyoming Resident Agencies and the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service and Teton County Sheriff's Office have been conducting ground surveys at Spread Creek Dispersed Camp Area.

It said: "The Spread Creek dispersed camping area is located in Bridger-Teton National Forest, east boundary of Grand Teton National Park. This area is currently closed to the public, and will remain so until all surveys are completed.

Laundrie was returned to Florida by his parents on September 1. Petito was reported missing in New York by her mother on September 11.
