Steelers rookie Najee Harris announces presence with epic stiff-arm of Johnathan Abram

PITTSBURGH -- Najee Harir is serious.
The rookie running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Johnathan Abram, was violently stiff-armed by safety Johnathan Abram during his Heinz Field debut. He then ran 9 yards.

Harris tried to be brought down by Abram on the first down run. But the Alabama native shook him off and shoved him down before continuing. Abram hit the turf, and the home crowd cheered. A replay was shown on the videoboard a few seconds later. After a 14-yard gain in the middle, Harris ran the second longest quarter.

Harris was a well-known physical back at Alabama with similar plays. He also regularly hurdled college defenders.

Harris had five runs for 14 yards in the first quarter.
