Aniston spoke to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Aniston said that she will not be attending the Emmys.
She said she is still taking baby steps when it comes socializing because of the pandemic.
The Emmy Awards 2021 will air on Sunday, September 19, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Jennifer Aniston stated during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Aniston stated earlier in the month that she won't be attending Sunday's Emmys because she is still making "baby steps," when it comes socializing amid the global coronavirus epidemic.
Aniston was Rachel Green's star in 10 seasons on the hit sitcom Friends. The reunion series, "Friends: The Reunion," aired earlier in the year and was nominated for four Emmy Awards, including Outstanding directing for a variety show.
Despite the fact that the reunion show failed to win the three Creative Arts Emmys awards last weekend, the final category Outstanding Variety Special (Prerecorded) will be announced on Sunday.
Kimmel asked the "Friends" star if she felt it was a big step to appear on Kimmel's late-night show.

She stated that Ben Winston, who is the director and producer of "Friends: The Reunion," would be attending instead.
Aniston stated, "This is a huge step for me to just being here," and added: "I'm [taking] small steps."
This makes perfect sense, especially considering that the actress at 52 years old told InStyle last month that she has been cutting out friends who refuse the COVID-19 vaccination.
Aniston stated that she had lost "a few people" in her weekly routine who refused to or didn't disclose [if they were vaccinated]. It was regrettable.
Metro reported in July that the Television Academy had stated via a statement, that live award ceremonies would have a limited audience of nominees and guests and that all attendees will need to present proof of vaccination before they are allowed into the venue.

Following the announcement that "Friends: The Reunion” was nominated to four Emmys in 2018, the "Friends", a group of friends, praised Winston via social media.
Aniston posted on her Instagram Story, "Congratulations to my @friends Family on four Emmy nominations. It was a very special reunion and we couldn’t be happier sharing it with you. And a special shout out to @mrbenwinston for making it all possible. We love you and think that you are brilliant.
