Tonight's Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will take place at 8 PM ET (5PM PT). Streaming platforms such as Apple TV Plus and Netflix are expected to win big. Cedric, the Entertainer, will host the show. The broadcast will be live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to accommodate social ditancing.
Where can I see the EMMYS?
The Emmys will be broadcast by CBS this year. You can also watch the Emmys on your local CBS affiliate. You can also watch the Emmys live on CBS Paramount Plus streaming service. If you are not already a Paramount Plus subscriber, you can sign up to get a free trial.
HOW DO I VIEW THE EMMYS ONLINE?
Even if you don't have cable TV, there are many options to watch the Emmys. You can view the Emmys in your web browser or via a streaming device (Apple TV or Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV or Roku) that is connected to your TV using Hulu, YouTube TV or SlingTV. Although these are paid services, most of them offer a free trial.
Who IS NOMINATED TO AN EMMY
The Netflix series The Crown about the British monarchy, and Disney Plus The Mandalorian received 24 nominations each, while Disney Plus Marvel's WandaVision received 23 nominations. For its first season, Apple TV Plus' comedy Ted Lasso received 20 nominations. HBO's (unfortunately canceled!) Lovecraft Country received 18, and HBO's Ted Lasso received 20 nominations.
